Craps Game Rules

Online Craps is a dice game. Bets are placed on the layout and pay certain odds. The person who is rolling the dice is called the shooter. The first roll is called the come out roll. The numbers called Craps are 2,3 and 12.

Craps bets

Pass line
This bet is placed prior to the come out roll. To win, the shooter must roll 7 or 11 on the dice. If the roll of the dice is 2,3 or 12 then the bet is lost. If the roll of the dice is either 4,5,6,8,9 or 10 then that becomes the point. The point must be rolled to win. If 7 is rolled before the point the bet is lost. All winning bets pay even money.

Don’t pass line
This bet is placed prior to the come out roll. This is the opposite too a pass line bet. To win, the shooter must roll 2 or 3. If the shooter rolls 12 then it’s a tie. If the shooter rolls 7 or 11 the bet is lost. If the roll of the dice is 4,5,6,8,9 or 10 then that becomes the point. To win, 7 must be rolled before the point. All winning bets pay even money.           

Come bet
This bet can only be placed after the come out roll. To win, the shooter must roll 7 or 11. If the roll of the dice is 2,3 or 12 then the bet is lost. If numbers 4,5,6,8,9 or 10 are rolled then that becomes the point. The point must be rolled before 7 to win. All winning bets pay even money.

Don’t come bet
This bet is placed prior to the come out roll. This is the opposite too a come bet. The bet is won if 2 or 3 are rolled. If the roll is 12 then it’s a tie. If 7 or 11 are rolled then the bet is lost. If numbers 4,5,6,8,9 or 10 are rolled then that becomes the point. To win, a 7 must be rolled before the point. All winning bets pay even money.

Odds bets

These bets are placed in conjunction with a pass line, don’t pass line, come bet or a don’t come bet. You bet on the point being rolled before 7. The point numbers rolled have different odds.

Pass line and come bets
4 and 10: 2-1
5 and 9: 3-2
6 and 8: 6-5

Don’t pass line and don’t come bets
4 and 10: 1-2
5 and 9: 2-3     
6 and 8: 5-6

Field bets
This bet can be paced at any time. This is a one dice roll. If 2,3,4,9,10,11 or 12 are rolled, the bet wins. If 5,6,7 or 8 are rolled, the bet is lost. All winning bets pay even money, except 2, which pays 2-1 and 12, which pays 3-1.

Hard way bets
A bet that 4,6,8 or 10 are rolled in a double before 7.

4 and 10: 8-1
6 and 8: 10-1

Big 6 and Big 8
A bet that 6 or 8 will be rolled before 7. Winning bets pay even money.

Lay bets
A bet that 7 will be rolled before 4,5,6,8,9 or 10. All winning bets pay even money plus 5% commission.

Buy bets
A bet that 4,5,6,8,9 or 10 will be rolled before 7. All winning bets pay even money plus 5 % commission.

Place to win bets
If 4,5,6,8,9 or 10 are rolled before 7 then the bet is won.

6 or 8: 7-6
5 or 9: 7-5
4 and 10: 9-5

Horn bets
This is a simple bet. If 2,3,11 or 12 are the next roll then the bet is won.

3 or 11: 15-5
2 or 12: 15-2

Any roll bets

Betting on 11: 15-1
Betting on 3: 15-1
Betting on 12: 30-1
Betting on 2: 30-1
Any 7: 4-1
Any craps before 7: 7-1
