Baccarat Game Rules

The object of online Baccarat is to place a bet on either the player or banker will score the closest to 9, or that they will both tie the same score.

The player and banker are both initially dealt 2 cards. A third card may be dealt to either the player or banker depending on what score they both get.

Different scoring combinations for the initial 2 cards result in a third card being drawn.

Player

1. Third card
2. Stand off
3. Natural

A stand off means that no more cards can be drawn and the natural is paid accordingly to the winning bets straight away. No more cards can be drawn with either a stand off or a natural.

Banker

1. Third card
2. Third card but not if the player draws an 8 with their third card
3. Only when players third card is 2-3-4-5-6-7
4. Only when players third card is 4-5-6-7
5. Only when players third card is 6-7

Baccarat Odds

If you bet the player you receive even money.

If you bet the banker you receive even money plus 5% commission.

If you bet a tie between the player and banker you receive odds of 8-1.
